About the circuit

The Turkish Grand Prix returns to the Formula 1 calendar at the spectacular Istanbul Park: a circuit loved by drivers, teams and fans for its flowing layout, dramatic elevation changes and challenging corners. Located on the Asian side of Istanbul, the circuit combines high-speed sections with technical corners, creating a track that truly tests both driver skill and car performance.

Istanbul Park first joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2005 and quickly became known as one of the most exciting and demanding circuits in the championship. Its most famous feature is the legendary Turn 8: a long, multi-apex left-hander where drivers need full commitment, precision and confidence to carry speed all the way through.
