About the circuit
Silverstone is located around 130 kilometers North of London with many of the Formula One teams located nearby.
In 1950, the World Championship of Drivers was introduced, and the 1950 British Grand Prix was the first World Championship Formula One race ever held. You can still feel the heritage of this race and the British fans are one of a kind.
The 5.8 kilometer track is fast and a quick lap time requires bravery and finesse and provides plenty of on track action for spectators. As the nearest major city is London, traffic and accommodation can be challenging.
Why not choose for a helicopter transfer and stay at the Coworth Park hotel in Ascot. Part of the Dorchester collection and just outside London. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a luxury country house hotel with a dash of adventure. Great for corporate groups, special for families.
Take part in quintessentially English activities such as croquet, go horse riding or take polo lessons with Guards Polo Club on one of Coworth Park’s two professional polo fields.
Yes, they have a Michelin restaurant. But why not dine at its more casual sister The Barn and keep your muddy boots on while sipping a Pimms at the fireplace before dinner.
Are you spending a long weekend in England? Combine your F1 weekend with a visit to one of the teams’ factories.
